Candida & Magnesium
Candida coats the intestinal wall and disrupts your digestion in oh so many different ways. This can lead to nutritional deficiencies.....from mild to severe.
One of the most common deficiencies that candida sufferers struggle with is magnesium deficiencies.
Magnesium is a very important mineral and is vital for healthy living. If you are lacking in magnesium, you may see any or all of the following symptoms :
Your Candida is the cause of the magnesium deficiency so clearing up your candida will enable your body to begin to resume normal functioning. This will take some time though as it is necessary to restore the gut to its fully functioning capability. In the mean time.....it is essential that you get some magnesium into your body. This can be done with supplements, however, when the gut is not functioning optimally you are throwing your money down the drain on supplements as you are often unable to absorb them.
At this stage, a better option is to get your magnesium quotas transdermally, through the skin. The skin will absorb magnesium even when the gut won't.....so the easiest way to build up and supplement your levels is to either apply Magnesium Oil directly to the skin, or to put a small amount in the bath. Magnesium flakes can also be added to the bath. This is an affordable, easy and relaxing way to get magnesium into your body to relieve your symptoms. Macrobiotic sea salt in the bath is also beneficial here. We will discuss this shortly.
